"A BIG thanks to Gail in the Power of the Pack office for referring Delores
Burton of K-9 Campus in Lancaster, California, to me this past summer! Delores
worked a miracle for me and my two year-old Shepherd mix, Mona, an extremely
fearful (of everything and everyone) dog I rescued off the busy streets of North
Hollywood, CA when she was four months old. Delores recommended I read "Cesar's
Way" to begin with. I did and it helped tremendously. Mona now walks on leash with my four other
dogs and has warmed up to me considerably. We are still working on some of her
fears, but I am SO relieved and grateful to you and to Delores. The future looks
happy and healthy for us now. I would recommend Delores to anyone and wanted to
let you know that. Thanks again." - Doris, Tehachapi, CA
“You are a goddess. You did in 2 hours what four other professionals told me could not be done, and that my dog was a hopeless case. Thank you!” - Bernard, Las Vegas
Delores,
Thank
you so much for allowing us the opportunity to come to California and mentor
with you. You were very generous with your knowledge and we learned a great
deal during our time with you. It was amazing to watch you work with many dogs
and their owners, and the positive results were very encouraging. We were most
impressed with the “aggressive” and “hopeless” cases and your compassion
toward these animals as you assisted with rehabilitation for the dog and
family. We were able to bring what we learned back to Kentucky and
begin
helping dogs and their owners in our area. We continue to be amazed as we see
the same wonderful results with our clients. We will continue down this path
with you in hopes of saving the lives of animals and meeting the needs of our
canine companions as they so unselfishly bring happiness to us every day! -

I will never be able to thank Delores enough for the help
she gave me with my “girls”. Before Delores, I hired a trainer and after
several sessions, I did not see any improvement; their fighting with one
another actually intensified. That same trainer told me that the reason my
girls were fighting so viciously was because, “this is how nature deals with
inbreeding and if they continue fighting, you should find a new home for one
of them so they could both live a happy life.” I was discouraged and
devastated after this experience. My girls are like my children, and choosing
to find a new home for one of them was not an option.
Then, I contacted Delores; she was so encouraging and she told me from the
beginning that I would not have to find a new home for one of them. In just
one session, she showed me how to become “pack leader” in a calm, assertive
way. She explained that my girls were fighting to establish dominance, but
once I showed them that I was the “pack leader,” then the fighting would stop,
and it did. With patience and persistence, I started using what Delores taught
me the moment she left my home and each day I saw improvement. Today, I do not
have the problems with my girls that I had before. I am very thankful for the
opportunity to work with Delores; she is a true leader in her profession.

Fawn and Snowy:
These two used to fight all the time
and had to be kept separate.
They are now best friends.
