Boomer is a 3 month old rescue from one of our local shelters. He is all puppy! Loves to play with his people, his dog friends, moving leaves, passing airplanes...you name it! He is wonderfully attentive to his people, and seems to prefer their company to his playmates. But he also gets along quite well with dogs individually or in numbers. One of his playmates loves to chew on different parts of Boomer's neck, which seems just fine with Boomer! We're guessing Boomer will be a "tall" boy. (Not necessarity "big".) He has very long legs and feet he still needs to grow into.

This pet is up to date with routine shots.

"Rusty"

Miniature Pincher
Brown
Approx 2 yrs.
Neutered
Chipped
Current on shots
Excellent health

He is not an aggresive dog. He gets along with everyone and all animals (even cats). We have not tested him with kids, but I have no reason to believe he would not get along and be safe around children. He loves to sit in your lap and lay next to you in your chair in the evenings. He is crate trained. He sleeps in it all night without making any noise. Loves to play with all kinds of toys. He runs around the house endlessly with them. He rides in a car with no problems. He has no problems with eating; he loves to eat. He is a very loving dog but needs someone who can spend some time with him as he is very active. I hope to place him in a loving home with someone that understands the activeness of this breed.

Here are the pictures of two dogs we have been working to place for about two years now. Eddie is a husky/shepherd mix. He is approx. 3 years old. Very friendly with all people and would love an active family/individual to go on lots of walks and hikes. He is energetic but very, very gentle. Loves to give kisses. VERY dog friendly. He is a submissive dog who adores little dogs especially. Pete is about 3-4 years old. He is a pit bull and lab mix. He has recently had obedience and leash training and really impressed the trainer with his ability to learn quickly. Pete seems friendly to most dogs. He is also great with people. He is very affectionate, often excitedly bulldozing into you so that he can get a belly rub.

Two purebred German Shepherds for Adoption.

Shadow is a real sweetie! He loves to have his ears rubbed and probably would have rolled over to have his tummy scratched if there was enough room to reach thru the gate. His paw takes up my whole hand, but he just seems like such a gentle guy!

Mushroom has shorter hair and is just a little smaller than Shadow. Needs some socialization. He got ahold of my little fabric travel food bowl thru the gate and had a field day with his new "toy"! He was just so happy to have something to play with!

Sante’—St. Bernard Mix. Doesn’t slobber. He’s a big baby, kissey-face, lots of hugs. He plays with other dogs and acts like a Jack Russell, jumping up and down when he’s excited. He loves everyone and would do good as a companion dog. He is three years old, crate-trained, neutered, current on shots and microchipped.

Pia—Red Boxer Mix. She is 3 ½ years old and she has rust eyes with black eyeliner. She is full of energy and devoted. She wants to please very much and would make a wonderful family pet. She doesn’t get along with cats and some dogs, which can be trained out of her. She is crate-trained, microchipped, spayed and current on shots.

Junior is a 1 year old chow/mix that was abandoned with a litter of 7 puppies, he is sweet and shy.  I have met Junior he is a rather large dog and just needs love.

Terry, I've met several times, he is extremely shy, he was brought in with a litter of puppies, his birthday was 02/06, large dog, loves treats and very loving once he gets to know you but oh so shy.

Tom, malamute mix, born 04/25/04  dignified, sweet and shy, large dog and very beautiful

Mickey is a female Dalmatian, beautiful dog that was thrown from a car when she was 2 months old, her front paw is intact but crippled, she is an extremely energetic dog that doesn't even know she has a disability, she runs , plays toys and needs a good home.

Big Bear: An older, large Golden Retriever Mix; he saw the shelter staff approaching with a leash. He jumped up and down. He was very excited, anticipating a walk, just like he used to get. We called out: “Where is he going?” To the Euth Room!
“No! He is coming home with us.”

Scarlet: Walking through a local shelter, we saw a movement in a corner of a pen. A small, old, wet Chihuahua was shaking from the cold after her pen had the early morning wash down. Her big brown eyes and long lashes were blinking as if she was asking: “Are you my person? Will you let me sit on your lap and keep me safe and warm?” She is looking for her person!

Maria: She was in the desert, dehydrated and alone. She somehow found the strength to jump into a UPS truck that was passing by. The UPS driver took her to the shelter. Sadly, she had been beaten, and lost her left eye and a tooth. A young German Shepherd, she still loves people, and is looking for her special person to give her the love she deserves!
